I have put on some weight lately and a lot of my clothes aren’t fitting anymore and I have two kids so I don’t have the time to go to a store and try sizes on plus that would be terrible embrassing. So is there a way you can get an estimate on what size clothes a person may wear?

My son is 6 years old and about 47 inches tall. His belly (where he wears his pants) is 26 3/4 inches and his inseam is 19 inches. He weighs just over 60 lbs. I know he’s big for his age but the doctor hasn’t expressed any concern because he’s just solid, not fat.

Anyway, I’ve been buying him a size 7 pants and they fit him very well in the waist but they’re so long on him. I was wondering how husky sizes run normally and if he would have a better fit in a 6H maybe.
I’ve been looking casually in some stores for sizes like that but huskies seem to begin at sz. 8.

Any suggestions??
I guess what my question should have been, are husky sizes bigger all around and just the same length as normal sizes?

I see alot of people saying that there’s just more room in the thigh and seat.
6R would be the right length
7R is a good fit in the waist, **** and legs but a couple inches too long.
This seems pretty consistent between clothing brands.
Anyone know of any brands that have “short” sizes for little boys?

I have been shopping at Limited Too for years and they never carried plus sizes… only regular and slim sizes. During my recent shopping trips to several limited too stores, their stores were overflowing with half/plus sizes! and not many slim sizes anymore.

I wear 14reg or 16slim in that store. I am sort of pissed off because it used to be easy to find my size and now it’s very hard! Why do they make kids clothes so big?!
I am 21. It freaks me out that their clothes now probably fit ppl twice my size!
